Ranipool, is a small suburban town located near Gangtok, East Sikkim. It is 12 km from Gangtok main town.and lies at an altitude of around 2,000 ft above sea level. . It has three roads which lead to Singtam, Pakyong and Gangtok. It falls under the Gangtok Municipal Corporation.The Ranipool-Saramsa Corridor has been considered as an industrial zone by the Commerce and Industries Department ofSikkim.It has three schools, one government and two private. Just 2 km from there is a factory called Sun Pharma which is used for creating medicines.
